Piacenza Calcio and Giochiamo.ai: predictive Artificial Intelligence in support of injury prevention
Piacenza Calcio presents its collaboration with Giochiamo.ai, a Piacenza-based company specialising in the development of proprietary predictive Artificial Intelligence, software, for an initiative that puts technology at the service of the players' health and physical fitness.
The project aims to anticipate signs of fatigue in athletes and to support the staff in injury prevention, and in the management of workloads and recovery.
At the heart of the project is Playhard, the predictive AI software designed to process multiple variables and analyse how they evolve over time. By recognising patterns, anomalies and early signals, the system aims to anticipate conditions of fatigue and increased risk of injury, giving the technical, athletic and medical staff useful indications so they can intervene promptly.
Predicting to prevent.
The software's predictive capability makes it possible to study how each individual athlete's condition might evolve, identifying variations from their usual parameters and signals that may precede a problem.
The aim is to help avoid injuries, giving professionals further elements on which to base decisions on workload management, recovery times and training planning.
Playhard's predictions are a unique tool to support the staff's decisions, as the staff retain a central role in interpreting the indications and deciding on interventions. The purpose of the system is to recognise early the conditions that may favour an injury and to enable targeted prevention for the individual athlete.

Founded by Niccolò Caramatti, Giochiamo.ai develops proprietary predictive artificial intelligence software aimed at the early identification of behaviours, phenomena and risk conditions. After four years of study and research, Playsafe was launched in 2025, dedicated to the prevention of addictions. From this experience Playhard was developed, which extends the predictive approach to sport, retail and industry, turning data analysis into forecasts and indications to support decision-making.
