Piacenza win a crazy match, coming back from 2 goals down to beat Nibbiano 3-2 at the Garilli.
Franzini, who has Ferri back at the centre of defence, fields Tremolada and Rrapaj in midfield and Mustacchio in support of Raffini up front. Shortly after the quarter-hour mark, the first chance of the match falls to Grasso, but Bruno saves by rushing out low. On the half-hour, a superb save from Bruno denies Lancellotti's left-footed shot from distance. In the 32nd minute the visitors go ahead through Grasso, who makes the most of a cross from Castegnaro on the left. The red-and-whites respond with a left-footed effort from Mustacchio saved by Guerci, but on the counter-attack Bruno is decisive again against Lancellotti, then Grasso fails to find the target from an excellent position.
At the start of the second half, the hosts are very dangerous, first through Putzolu and then Raffini, but Guerci is miraculous against the headers of the two red-and-whites. In the 59th minute Nibbiano double their lead through Grasso, who is quick to take advantage of a defensive error by the opposition. In the 63rd minute Raffini reopens the game with a low, sharp shot and, a few minutes later, Putzolu forces Guerci into the third great save of his match. In the 82nd minute, however, number 8 scores from a Mustacchio cross and levels the score. In the 89th minute it is red-and-white delirium: a curling right-footed shot from Bassanini and great celebrations in front of the stand for all of Franzini's players.
Piacenza will be back in action on Wednesday at 14:30 for the replay of the second half of the match away to Milan Futuro.
